Connie Cashin has been asked by the International Council of Shopping Centers, to serve on the committee for the 2005 Fall Conference & Trade Exposition, to be held in San Diego, October 16-18, she is the Chair of the 2005 Fall Conference Shopping Center Tours, which will visit several centers in the San Diego area, including Fashion Valley Mall, Viejas Outlet Center and The Shops at Las Americas.
Cashin Marketing was honored with two awards at the annual SCMDA Robert "Magic" Jones Awards Ceremony. They received two Bravo! Awards for Advertising Excellence, one in the category of Radio Advertising, for centers under 500,000 square feet, Indio Fashion Mall for "Hip Hop Easter Bunny" Connie Cashin, SCMD, Professional Recognition to: Kristen Cashin, Cashin Marketing; Ant Dog, U-92.7 FM; Ivette Barnett, CB Richard Ellis. The second award was presented in the category of Website Design, centers 500,001-1 million square feet, Villa Marina Marketplace, www.VillaMarinaMarketplace.com and VIP Preferred Shoppers Club, Connie Cashin, SCMD, Professional recognition to: Kristen Cashin, Cashin Marketing, Matt Hunter, Hunter Communications, Sandy Dellibovi, M & H Property Management.
Connie Cashin has been named a 2005 recipient of the University of Southern California's USC Alumni Association President's Award. This award recognizes excellence in volunteerism and service to the University.
Cashin Marketing was honored with five of the 14 awards given during the 15th Annual Southern California Marketing Directors Association Robert "Magic" Jones Awards, in May 2004.
Cashin Marketing received three Bravo Awards for Advertising Excellence, and two Bravo Merit Awards. The first of the three Bravo Awards was awarded to Sherman Oaks Galleria for their Website. The judges were very impressed with the effectiveness of the weekly e-mail to the GalleriaVIP Club, and the 5.6 million "hits" the site has received during the past year. Two Bravo Awards were presented to The Village at Indian Wells for Entire Advertising Campaign and Television Advertising.
Cashin Marketing also received Bravo Merit Awards for the Website Design of Granada Village, and for Valencia Marketplace's Entire Advertising Campaign.
Connie Cashin, SCMD, has been invited by 2004 MAXI Chairman Wally Brewster, SCMD, to serve as a 2004 MAXI Judge. The Judging Committee will score approximately 500 entries over a three day period.

Cashin Marketing plans an interactive Website for the center, as well as local advertising, tourism activities and events with local organizations. CB Richard Ellis, managers of Indio Fashion Mall, Indio, California, has named Cashin Marketing the marketing consultant for the center, as they prepare to undergo a renovation and expansion. Cashin Marketing is working on a bilingual Website for the center, as well as bilingual coupon books and a full schedule of seasonal events.
